I was looking at M1210 from Dell Outlet, great price...
But why do they put 2 512 rams to make 1G...My guess is if I wanted to upgrade then I have to take one out...unless I find one with 2 G...
Is that usual with Dell outlet since it's cheaper to put 2 512 then 1 1G?
Also how reliable is dell outlet?
I am not thinking about getting additional service other than basic...
I never had experience with outlet computer...

Yes, Dell puts 2x512 in order to save themselves money. To get 2GB you need to pay a lot more, and outlet doesn't allow customization. Or, cheaper still, you can do it yourself.

Dell outlet is reliable..unless you order scratch and dent. THat is risky, you don't know what you will get.

Take a look at ebay. I got my M1210 from there 1 week ago with 2gigs of ram and loaded with everything else for 1419.00. I think it was a good deal.
