    I currently have 1.5G RAM.

I want to up my memory to 4G. Is this possible with the M1210? If so, can the computer see all the 4G?

Only if you use a 64bit OS. 32bit OS's can only address about 3.2GB of RAM

Yes, M1210 supports up to 4GB. However as TailDrag said, Windows 32bit OSs will only use somewhere around 3 ~ 3.5GB. Because of an address space issue. Even though 32bit addressing can address up to 4GB, Windows use the same address space to address all other devices as well (including VGA memory ), thereby reducing the addressable system RAM.
