I have a few genral questions about the performance diference since I can't find 2 diferent reviews to compare with.

I plan on getting a m1210 since there so cheap now on the outlet, i'm able to get one with the graphics upgrade for less then 900.

I am more then likely going to get stuck with vista, service pack 1 should be out soon and hopefuly fixes a lot of problems, so in the mean time I was wondering.

Battery life, about how much extra juice on the battery does vista suck up compared to xp?

GRaphics performance, is there still as much as a 20% performance hit?

and thats about it, i already know all the other things i was wondering about/care about.

    Thanks

beware .... the first 2 weeks vista will make your HD go crazy and will significantly lower your battery life ... after that it should be fine, other than the fact that it's vista and has little support for almost all hardware/software

I have noticed slightly better battery life under Vista compared to XP.

For graphics XP is certainly better. I cant give you an exact number, it differs from game to game. But there are plenty of benchmarks out there in the internet; you can get an idea by looking at them.
