    Hi

    Does anyone use this combination?

I want a portable laptop but when at home I would like to be able to connect to say a 22" monitor. Will this m1210 with the GO 7400 be able to handle a 22" well? as the max res on the m1210 is 1280X800 whereas the 22" is is set for1680x1050.

Any help would be greatly appreciated before i purchase

    Thanks

I think you're fine, as long as you have the connections avaliable. The laptop screen I believe is independent of the screen of the ext. monitor

Yes it will work, the 7400 supports resolutions up to 2048x1536 at 85Hz, well above what that monitor can do. All you need to do is connect it and set it as your defaut monitor and you will have no problems at all with it.
