Anybody have this problem where if they have their wifi turned on, a high frequency sound would be emmited. When I'm at a quiet place like the library, everybody could hear it. I have to turn off the WIFI just to not annoy the person next to me.

I get very good wifi range with the M1210 compared to other laptops, but this noise is just unacceptable.

That doesn't sound normal...I'd give a call to dell support I suppose and they'll probably have pull the wifi card out and put it back in (I assume you can do that with an m1210, I don't really know the anatomy of one but I know you can do it with some dell laptops).
