The little cloth they give you with newer orders of the M1330, is it one of those "microfibre" things that lets you clean your display without lint/etc residue?

    hmm didn't get one :(

I'm starting to think this one might be a refurb.. for no reason other than it was shipped basically 4 days after i made the order and those 4 days were over thanksgiving weekend.... hmmm no problems or noticeable issues though.

My last replacement came with a really nice cd/manual XPS binder and in it there was the cloth.

This didn't come with my other 2 replacements so it must be something new.

That's exactly right. I've done a couple of replacements, my latest one came with the nice binder with the cloth. Good stuff :D

If you made a call to customer service, I am sure they don't mind sending one out to you.

That cloth? Oh well, you trap wrap your mon with it and you'll find out tons of black tiny fibers left on the screen...don't believe it? Try it.

It is illegal to sell a refurbish as new, and dell will not mistakenly do this as they are watched very closely to make sure they don't. There are many reasons for a fast shipment, it really depends on your config and what configs are being made at that time. You could have ordered the perfect config at just the perfect time.

LOL same here. Maybe third time's the charm. Except I regret ordering the 1330 with the Black casing, and intel x3100 card :(
