Hello, am i the only one having this problem? Its just impossible to listen to music while the wireless card is enabled. Even with the wireless card disabled there is still some crackling noises while playing mp3s. Anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it? thanks

I have just received my XPS M1330, and I also got very bad sound. Scratching noises every few seconds.

I hven't really been ableto determine what causes this noise. have tried to run on battery tosee if it had anything to do with grounding, but that does not make any difference.

Sometimes it seems like I can provoke the noises by moving the mouse around, but then again; the noise might have been there without the mouse movements.

I have also tried to play music in different programmes - all the same.
From a CD -all the same
MP3 files - all the same
With the head set attached - all the same.
I must say, that the noise is quite unacceptable. It is simply not a pleasure to listen to music on this brand new PC.

    Damn!!!

Try downloading the latest audio drivers of Dell site which by all accounts corrects this problem. Or/and disable the A band radio on your wireless card as long as your not using this band to connect to the net. There is a post on this issues some place within this forum

Lmao.. the wireless is picking up garbage floating in the air and it's surging through the machine - that and poor shielding/grounding causes some of the problems.
