    I'm not paying an OEM's inflated RAM prices for more than the minimum choice of memory. I've got Newegg.

    However, so that I know what I should get for what amount of memory, what am I dealing with on a new M1330? How many slots, and what's the default configuration of 2GB? 2 x 1GB in four slots? Two? What?

    2 ram slots and they come standard in dual channel. (2 sticks)
