    for all the m1330 owners

when you use this laptop at home..
do you leave it plugged in to the adapter with the 6 or 9 cell (whichever you have) still in the laptop?
or do you take the battery out when it's charged and just use it with the adapter and leave the battery somewhere else?

what's the recommended or the best way to take care of your battery?
i have the 6 cell, if that is relavent

I leave it plugged in at home. I have the 6 cell as well, and I'm really regretting it. The battery runs out in what feels like an hour, hour and a half.

    computernerd,

when you have it plugged in at home, do you have the 6cell also plugged into the laptop? or is it detached?

Leave the battery in. If you look carefully you'll see that one of the laptop's foot rest is incorprated into the battery. Plus the battery is also for balance. As far maintenance (even though the battery doesn't develop a memory) I'd suggest letting it drain occassionally (say every six months) and allow it to come back to a full charge.

At home and work I use my 4-cell since it is almost always plugged in. When I am in class, I usually use my 9-cell.
