Hey guys,
Does anyone have both the 6cell and the 9cell battery on the m1330?Can you post up some pix with it... I want to know if it's a big different? How long your 6cell and 9cell going for??

I can when I get home from work. I like the 9 cell. It does add a bit of weight, but it raises up the notebook for typing, long battery life, and the notebook will run cooler. I would try to get 1 6 cell and 1 9 cell. This way while your at home use the 6 cell and when you head out and know you need the extra juice, take the 9 cell.

i get about 3 hours doing basic internet with the 6 cell and just about 5 hrs with 9 cell.
EDIT: don't mind the stains on my table -
Nice pictures. Except for those horrendous stains.

thanks guys. Yeah i agree that the 9 cell does lift it up a little bit letting more air out. do you guys know how heavier is the 9cell?? I currently using the 9cell myself. Just want some opinion about the 6cell. Thanks again guys!

its not that much heavier its still under 5 lbs

Personally, I don't like the 9-cell look. The M1330 is designed around portability, and I think the 9-cell kind of defeats that "appearance", because it sticks out the back.

So hard to find...

The 9 cell does hurt appearances. Get both if you can. The 6 cell gives a much more sleek thin look.

With my 9 cell which I use all the time the unit is still very light to carry and thats in the slip case then in a dell carrier case with power leads, wireless mouse and 6 CD/DVD disc..Unlike my good old Compal CL50 with all its extras came in at about 4.5 plus kg on a good day.
The other benefit in having the 9 cell is your laptop will be at a more suitable angle to type at your desk or table and I guess aid in cooling too. -
I have both..and I'm glad I ordered both with the laptop. The 9-cell is still very light on the laptop, typing angle is nice, and most importantly, i can get more than 7 HOURS of battery life on battery saver mode...this is very handy when I have like 6 hours of class in a row and I don't have to carry both batteries....but then on days when i have 1-4 hours of class, i just bring along the 6-cell...PERFECT IMO.
