    M1330 Clean Wipe Question

    So if I decide to wipe clean my m1330 with a reinstallation of vista.. will I lose my 12 free months of that anti virus that comes with it?

    I think what will happen is that when you first start up the laptop, McAfee will ask you to create an account with them on their website. They probably will not ask for any credit card to keep on file with them during the trial. Once you set that up, you can install a fresh copy of Windows Vista, then go to McAfee's website and logon to your account and re-download the Anti-Virus program from there.

    Hope that works, as that's the same thing I plan on doing when I get mine.
