Hi all of you with the M1330,

I just received mine. I haven't experienced any CPU whine or noticed any keyboard flex. However, my speakers seem to crackle sometimes during songs, and it is not the songs themselves.

I tried disabling the microphones, moving the laptop away from other speakers and electronic devices. It still happens occasionally. Its not terrible but its definitely annoying for a 2 grand laptop. For the audio option, I picked the standard Canadian option instead of the "high-def" one or whatever. Has anyone experienced this problem with a similar audio configuration?

Do you guys think I should call up Dell and ask for a new laptop? Will they send me a new one before I have to send this one back? I don't really want to be without a laptop as school is starting soon.

    Thanks.

i have the same speakers as you, and the only time i have ever noticed crackle is when i switch songs. This seems to be normal though, so i dont really think its an issue. If you have crackle during songs, then i would be worried.
