Does anyone have any issues with Verbatim 16X DVD+R media on the slot drive of the m1330? I have made copies of an old movie for my cousins. I used the "imageburn" recording software and auto booktype to "dvd-rom" is enabled. I burn the movies at 8x and it seems to burn fine. I even perform the crc scan with dvdinfopro and no errors. However, my cousins report that the movie freezes like crazy near the end for a good 5 to 10 minutes. I burn completely different movie for myself with the same verbatim disc and tried to watch it on my xbox 360. The movie froze really bad near the end as well.
I don't know if my drive is failing or if the media is bad. What I don't get is that dvdinfopro finds no errors when I scan the disc. I'm going to try another brand or maybe dvd-r discs.

Making movie copies for others is illegal, so end discussion there. For all you know, copy protection is purposefully screwing up the discs.
Try burning a full disc of data...see if you have a similar problem. -
for YEARS! And thats never happened.
And as I said above, there's no way to actually do that! I mean c'mon, the 360 has MUCH better copy protection than ANY DVD film, and they can be copied VERY easily if you have the right software & hardware! And they play just as well (if not better) than the original!
Try playing them in the M1330! Cos the drive that wrote the disc will have the best chance of reading them! If it still doesn't work, then try some different discs....its NOT any sort of copy protection (its not possible for copy protection to do that...the whole point of copy protection is to just stop you copying a disc, not just mess up the ending!!).
