So with all this word about delays with the M1330...is there any talk about the fastest receive time?
Sorry to gloat, but this feels awesome (even though I'm taking off in 2 days for vacation).

wtf. i ordered mine on august 6 too, but my ESD is september 14. WHAT?

i basically got what everyone else got almost, but without the discrete graphics.

matte black, t7300, 2 GB ram, FPR, BT, 120 GB 5400rpm HDD, LED w/ VGA webcam, Wireless-N, 6-cell battery, 3-5 day shipping.

though, i recently emailed my dell rep to upgrade my shipping, seeing as i need it by aug 29th. she responded in an hour of my email. now i feel bad that it took me like, half a day, to respond to her. HELLA fast response. but i dont know what she can do with my order, i just hope she doesnt charge me for it.

 

Don't get frustrated just yet. The people getting their systems very quickly are the exception, not the rule. I mean I ordered on July 4th and I still don't have mine yet.

Was told 10 to 15 days when I ordered, then got an August 22nd ESD on my order confirmation. I was a little irked by that, but when I called customer care, they told me that date was wrong and my E DD was August 3rd. Then my E SD was August 3rd. It didn't ship out on time and eventually shipped on August 9th. It's still shipping.

 

ordered on 7/18...shipped on 8/2...i suppose 2 weeks of wait time wasn't that bad at all comparing to all the other delays

btw though...i had to called customer service to my warranty extended..so i cancelled and reordered on 7/26..and it still shipped on 8/2

oh well..i guess cancelling and reordering doesn't affect the ship date ?? when the rep told me it's gonna ship within 4-5 days...i didnt believe her at all..lol..

I the following config on 7/22: 2 ghz T7300, white backing, WLED backlight LCD w/VGA camera, 160 gig 7200 RPM drive, GeForce 8400M GS, 1 gig of RAM.

I check my order status almost every day and my EDD is still 9/11 to 9/13. It hasn't budged at all. I still want to SEE one in person so I can figure out if I should buy something else, esp. something cheaper (but larger) like a D630 or Inspiron 1420.

 

Wow that fast! What config did you order? Gives me hope I might get mine sooner.

I ordered this config on 8/8 - Intel T7300 2.0ghz cpu, LED screen with webcam, 1GB, 120GB HD, DVDRW, Geforce8400, Bluetooth, 9 cell battery, Intel 4965 wireless N, matte black, 3yr CC warranty with LoJack (didn't really want the LoJack but didn't seem to be a choice). My ESD is still 9/13.

BTW did you order the FREE recycling kit and plant a tree? I did. Perhaps that's causing the add'l delay
