As of today the fan started running constantly from the point that i turned the computer on. Runs constantly in both BIOS, Vista and Linux Mint. Temperatures reported are:
    GPU: 64 C
    CPU: 44 C

It is not the highest speed of the fan as you get when playing games or hd-video but its very hearable and annoying.

Anyone got an idea what could be the problem? Else its time for phone queue again i guess.

My first m1330 had an overheating problem. GPU got to 100C and the machine shut off. Got a new machine and ran 3DMark03. It didn't over heat but the temp peaked out around 91-95C. You might want to see what how high your temperature gets. I think my fan gets audible but I don't mind it too much.
