Are you tired of sitting in classes and watching heads turn as you start up that little dell beauty you just bought, not because of its sheer elegance but rather, the ever so piercing squeal that comes from within???

Do you sometimes feel as if your in the Second World War while you sit in your office while that baby belts out the morse code behind you???

Does your little lappy attract dogs from all around the neighbourhod for no reason at all??

Well....if you cant beat em...join em....

Just add this little desktop background and tell everyone they too can own one of these rare beauties.

With any purchase of a Dell M1330, the average consumer has a 47% chance of this 'music to our ears' being included FREE OF CHARGE!!!

Other available free 'add ons' include the limited edition lid with teeth, dented palm rest, warped keyboard deluxe and, not to forget, the hillside angle adjusted laptop to sit even on uneven surfaces.

Needed a little humour I thought!!!

You also get this wonderful squeel with a 1505. This is the most hideous noise ever! Makes your mind bend after minutes! Is it only the HD or is it more to this? I'm considering one of those new drives with flash built in so the HD won't be spinning at all! If anyone has tried replacing the HD on the DellHells, please let me know if that fixed the problem. Thanks.

Its not the hard drive but there have been hard drives that have made similar sounds. This noise is fom the CPU/heatsink/motherboard area and is still heard when the hard drive is not spinning.

If yours only make noise when the hd is spinning, get it replaced and be thankful.
