I just got my M1330 with LED LCD today. And I noticed two things.

    1. Vista ultimate that I paid 150 extra for.. is only 32 bit.. I was on the phone with Dell support for 55 minutes, and the best they could tell me was, "sorry, we don't offer the 64 bit for consumers". oh well.

    2. On my LED screen, easy to miss when the screen has a theme or a dark background, there are two vertical lines about 3 to 4 pixels wide and an inch long each. These lines have the same color as the surrounding pixels, but have a higher brightness. These are more noticeable when the screen is tilted toward you.

Anyone else notice similar patterns on these LED LCDs?

    1) The rep you spoke to is correct. Keep in mind your 32bit key will work for a 64bit version......do the math.

    2) Call Dell and arrange for a replacement if you aren't happy.

it does, even though the version I got is considered OEM? Or is it? Thanks, I will try that once/if I get the replacement.

As long as you can get a copy of 64 bit media you can use your 32 bit key to activate it. It is legal, etc.., as long as you use the key for only one computer, whether 64 or 32 bit. As for the media, try this thread http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=240320.
