    M1330 Manually ejecting slot in?

    Is this possible? My disc wont come out and i cant see the dvd in windows/bios.

    Yea i Have the same question too .... is it possible to manually eject when the laptop is switched off ???

    Try soft eject go to drive in explorer right click and eject see if this works.

    I cant see the drive anywhere windows/dos/bios whatever.

    There isn't a manual way to eject a disk when the machine is off.
    I found myself with two disks in the drive (eject wouldn't eject them).
    I found out how to get them out with paper and sellotape - documented in the thread starting at http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=211319

    All drives should have the small pin hole to manually eject the disc. Push a paperclip into the hole and it should eject.

    If you have a slot loading drive an dnot a tray, ring Dell.

    If you cant see it in the BIOs either, it sounds like a faulty drive.

    I think Dell just used lovely drives in the 1330. Do they even have the pinhole to eject them?
