Hi guys has anyone tried running Infrarecorder on their M1330?

I installed it and initially it recognised my drive (Options>Devices) however after a few restarts it no longer detects it even with rescanning (it scans the SCSI/IDE bus). I reinstalled Vista and started from scratch and initially the drive does appear but again after a few restarts it isn't detected. I've tried reinstalling the program, the only diference in re-installation is that I don't get the option to tell the program what letter the DVD drive is (E:/) and it does detect it.

Can anyone tell me what the problem is or if they've had something similar. In addition is there a Matsh|ta DVD driver, would it make any difference?

Also I think that on the intial install some information from this remains on the computer even after uninstalling resulting in the InfraRecorder not asking for a default DVD drive letter, is there anyway to get rid of this info so it looks like InfraRecorder is being installed for the first time?
