I ordered a M1330 with a 1gb of memory. Does it come with 2 512 sticks or 1gb stick? I want to upgrade them when it comes in so I was going to go ahead and order it.
Question 2
I saw on Dell's website under accessories that 1gb of memory is $69 and 2gb is $329. Does anyone know if the 1gb is 2 512 or 1 gb stick?
THANKS!

It is "dual channel memory" which means two at a time for greater speed.

I think he means "Don't buy memory FROM Dell". You can get 4GB (2x2GB) elsewhere for under $250, 2GB (2x1GB) for under $100:
e.g. http://www.kahlon.com/result.asp?src=pricewatch&modelid=633619
Note that it has to be matched pairs, you can't have one 512M and one 2G or you'll lose the advantage of parallel access. I believe it has to be 200-pin DIMMs, not 240-pins. Anyway, this supplier promises compatibility with the m1330.
