    I've seen in many threads that the only way to tell which motherboard you have in your M1330 is to take the cover off and look at the sticker underneath the first RAM module, maybe I missed something but I also noticed:

    First M1330, sticker by model number on base REV A01, sticker on mobo REV A01
    Replacement M1330, base sticker REV A04, mobo REV A04.

    Maybe the base sticker is the motherboard rev number too?

    Also a bit surprised that Dell sent me an A01 2 weeks ago, but my eBay purchase that arrived today is an A04!!! I'm sure Dell's stock is newer!!!
