    That article seems to twist what Dell said at their blog. The official word was:

    "We are working to ship white units that meet our standards to all customers who ordered them, but those may be the last of the units using the current process, as we continue to pursue alternate methods of producing high-quality white units."

    So basically, they are gonna stop making them for a while untill they find a better way of painting them, not just simply discontinuing them forever.

    It might cost Dell more to produce the white in the current process. I ordered mine in White and hope it will be here sooner.
