I just got my M1330, I put the remote in the Express Card slot now it seems to be stuck. I can't get it out. I am I missing something  I've looked in the owner's manual and it doesn't say anything about this remote. Please help!

**Edit, just got it out using tweezers. But if you press it in too far, how are you supposed to get it out? How do you put this remote in the card slot without leaving it sticking out??

i think there are other reports about it (you're not alone!) getting stuck if you leave it in there too long...im guessing it gets caught against some other part. sorry i cant help any more than that.

Yeah... you know that little black square next to it, press that in, and it should eject itself out...

you have to PUSH in the card. Give it a hard push in.

Mine's stuck too! There is no button to eject in this type of slot, it uses some kind of spring loaded mechanism. I did manage to get it out with tweezers, but after I put it back in, it got stuck again! I can feel the spring action when I push it in to have to spring out, but instead it just goes in and stays in.

I'm calling Dell tomorrow to get a replacement. This laptop is only a day old.

    Read the above posts !
you have to push it in to release (push hard !), no special eject buttons.

I had a similar problem. The issue with mine was that a piece of electrical tape at the front edge of the Expresscard slot curled upwards, so basically the remote was taped inside. It took a little work, but I had to nudge the remote up a little, then it popped out like it should.

Actually the m1330 remote CAN get stuck in there. My 2nd m1330 remote got stuck in there. I had to pry it out, then swap the remote with the one that came with my first m1330.

But yeah, the normal eject procedure is to push it in. Unless it's really stuck.

The video is hilariousl because I got stuck as well.
I think the actual defect is the remote. The battary part is too thick and not rigid enough.

To take it out, loose the screws in the back next to the slot aperture. Then use a screw driver to gently dig it out.

I tried to insert it back without the battary. Worked better but still not very smoothly.

I had to delete a few unnecessarily rude posts from here. Please don't make me have to do it again. Lets try and keep it civil.
