We're starting to take these threads and polls too far now.

There was a thread last week that we determined the reason for the different skus were the casing colors and if you went with a cam or not.

Not really rocket science or anything worth noting.

If it says Slim and Light anywhere, it is the LED. Don't worry guys. Just loosen up a lil and go to sleep!!!

I swear, if I get my m1330 and has the standard LCD screen, I will personally throw the notebook all the way to Malaysia! :)

I'm not too worried that we'll get the standard screen.

But what I am worried about, is that this change in SKU for the screen could be some kind of error or glitch in the the ordering system for the screen. Which would mean a reorder/rebook which would lead to even further delays. My current ESD is 8/23/07, i don't want it delayed till October or something.

There is a bonus here and its called XPS Support which I am extremely familiar with (we have a direct line by now).

If you receive the incorrect system you just make a quick call to XPS Support and they order another for you.

You keep that until the proper one arrives. They will even send you shipping labels to send the incorrect one back.

Proper one arrives...then you send back the old one.

This has occurred once in my past without a hitch.

If I get a standard screen, I will unzip piss on it then throw it back to Malaysia! lol.

I do not think the part number thing is a problem. In my parts list I have a LED Screen part, and another Slim Light part. One is probably the screen, and the other is probably the color part.

That being said though did anyone ever chat with Dell about it just to confirm?
