    Hey,
I have been having a pretty big headache with the sound problems in my M1330 lately. To start, i was getting a weird static noise through my headphone port so i contacted technical assistance chat and they then connected to my computer, deleted the sound from my device manager and when he went to reinstall the driver he kept getting a error during the part of the driver installation which it updates the system hardware that said " Exit:Error:Error= Device Object not present, restart the system and run setup again." after this he mysteriously got disconnected. So now i have been trying to figure this out how to get the speakers to work and i cant seem to get them to. When i go to the sound manager it says the speakers arn't plugged in, it says this for the microphone as well. I go to the device manager and i see that its not listed there so i try to manually add it and when i choose the driver it keeps getting another error (add it to the device manager) i have redownloaded the driver and tried reinstalling it as well. I am pretty stuck here because my speakers won't work. Oh yha and in the sound manager theres another thing that says speakers which are "working" then under it is the identicle thing that says its not plugged in. I hope i gave enough information and someone here will be able to help.
    Thanks!
