Hi I was just curious as to what other M1330 users experiences are like with temperatures and fan settings.

I checked mine recently and the graphics card seems to go from around 65-72 degrees C and the CPU starts at about 45 then heads up to 55 C, then the fan comes on and cools it down again but it just seems to heat up again. Is this normal heat build-up? (btw, I am only reading pdfs at the moment and those are the temps im getting).
I ask only because my friend who has an M1330 said his CPU temps were like in the mid to high 30's and I was wondering why mine were 10-20 degrees hotter

    Thanks.

For the CPU temps, that is normal. As for the GPU temps, they don't seem too extreme, but I'm not too familiar with the 8400M in the M1330 so I'm not much help there.

check the powerplan of your OS and the Nvida card.
Switch to balanced mode, so CPU and GPU can safe power and produces
    little heat.

    Maybe this would help

Doesn't seem to make a difference sadly. Plus it's snowing outside so it's not too warm in my house!!

My temps are very similar to yours in my 1530. So I guess that is pretty normal. I think your friend is either "windy" or he is not getting correct readings.
