If you order the M1330 with the Dell 1505 Wireless-N instead of the Intel Pro Wireless 3945 802.11a/b/g card can you still use the hardware switch for turning wireless on and off? I heard from another brand that you cannot use it anymore if you use another WiFi mini-card.
I wonder why not every base configuration offers the Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N card. Does that mean there are two different mainboard/chipset variations of the M1330?PS: Actually only the nVidia GeForce 8400 model is available with the Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N mini-card. If you order the X3100 model you have to choose the Dell 1505 Wireless-N card when you want to use draft n.

Hi, I can use my switch to turn the wireless on and off and I have had both cards and the switch works with both in my system. Don't know about any other users.

Hi, I did not notice any difference with the cards but am not yet using wireless n routers nor am I dealing with great distances. I think you might see a difference with long distances and probably also speeds.
