I have a 37" LCD that I use for my TV, that also has hookups for VGA for the laptop, which looks lovely. But this is where it gets STRANGE

When I hook up my 3.5mm sound to it that run to the TV via a dual RCA connector for the laptop I get a pretty annoying hum when I have the laptop plugged in via AC wall adapter, but on battery its fine, zero humming feedback from my TV.

I tried swapping to my portable DC/AC connector and it does not hum as bad, about 60% less hum, and there is only a .1 amp difference i think.

just to note, the TV does not hum when my friend brings his desktop over when we lan, or when the TV is on watching stuff through coaxial.

Anyone else notice this? Maybe a bad ground ??
