after i received my new m1330 i did a clean Vista install immediatly. when i didn't have OS i couldn't eject any disc using the eject button. i though it was a software powered button.

but now i got my Vista fully installed with all drivers available in dell web site. that button still not working. i insert a disc, the optical drive read it correctly. but i can't eject it with the eject button. the only way i can eject it is doing right click on my optical drive icon, them by clicking "eject". and it works fine.

every buttons next to the power button works but the eject button :S however all lights blink when i turn on my notebook.

everything of my 1330 is fine, only the eject Button not working can some one help me?

My m1330 is a good build except for the wobble which I fixed with some superglue and a urethane foot. I have intermittent problems with ejecting cd's . I have to go to the drive, right click then select eject. Annoying if loading a game with multiple cd's.Also the computer will not wakeup. I have switched off the function that places it in sleep mode when the lid is shut. It is obvous that there has been no testing of this unit by Dell prior to shipping. These faults are so obvious.

Dell has some really bad quality control problems ranging from terrible LCDs to non-ejecting disc drives... Wow.
