My M1330 came yesterday and I am very pleased with my new notebook. However, I am having some trouble with the fingerprint reader settings. I have enrolled some fingerprints, but when I rebott the computer, it will not request a finger print scan and just logs me in. Then when I log out or standby, the computer then requests a finger print scan before I can log back in. This seems pointless since a reboot produces a paswordless login.
Is there any setting where I can set a fingerprint pasword on a bootup?

Do you have a password on your user account? Your admin user account needs to be password protected, and then you'll enroll fingers. The reason behind this logic is that say you only enrolled one finger, and you didn't password protect it. What if your finger got hurt or you had a burn? How are you going to log in? That's when your "hard password" kicks in, and you can type it even if your fingerprint is not recognized.
