I have been thinking about going with the m1330, especially now with the 30% off coupon. With the impending release of the E4300 though, I am wondering if that would be the better option.

I don't plan on doing any gaming and was planning on going with the x3100 gpu rather than the nvidia due to the common overheating problems.

The e4300 isn't configurable yet but I would be interested to get opinions from more familiar dell users as to why I would pick one of the other if I'm not going for the 8400 gpu.

    Thanks!

The E4300 is lighter, has backlit keyboard option and will have better battery life. It will stay cooler as wel due to 25 watt TDP processors. Build quality will be better than the XPS line.

The XPS 1330 is cheaper and has HDMI.

I'm hoping they will offer higher resolution on the E4300 but I have not seen news about this yet.

Sounds like I'll wait for the e4300 then.

    Thanks!
