I'm using a 2407 Dell monitor with my 1330. I was just on the 174.12 driver from laptop2go, but I noticed I had problems visitng this page: http://www.microsoft.com/ces/

On the right side of the screen, I will see the screen flickering. It doesn't happen on the left side of the screen. I hooked the monitor up with another laptop and the flickering wasn't there. So I ruled out a loose cable. I then figured it might be my drivers. However, after uninstalling and installing Dell's driver, the problem still persists.

Is anybody having this problem when they connect an external LCD monitor? Thanks.

ANYBODY? I just purchased a HDMI to DVI adapter. If that does not fix the problem this bad boy has to go back.

I just tried using a diff comp again and its defnitely my compuer and not the monitor.

Since you're using the VGA did you try auto-tuning the monitor? Also, make sure the refresh is set to 60Hz.
