After a clean install of Windows Vista, the DVD drive seems to recognize music CDs and movie DVDs just fine, but when I insert a DVD with data on it, it doesn't get recognized at all. With the DVD inserted, the drive is still labeled as DVD RW Drive (D :) under My Computer, and if I double click on it, I am told to insert a DVD and the one already in there is ejected. I've installed the drivers, and the Device Manager doesn't indicate that anything is wrong. Sorry if this is an issue that's been covered... I've done searches on it but haven't been able to find anything helpful. It's a Matsh*ta drive, by the way.

Do you think that'd help even though I don't have the yellow exclamation and error code?
