Through my current phone (Samsung i730), I'm able to listen to music through my bluetooth headset (not using A2DP). Is this also possible with the M1330? Or does it only support bluetooth earphones for audio?

Since Skype works by setting the the headset as the audio output device I'm sure the same will work in any Windows app while the BT headset is connected...
So, yes! (though I haven't tested it)

You're using the 'Headset' (HSP) or Handsfree (HFP) profile, instead of the stereo transmission (A2DP) and music control profile (AVRCP) which should work ok on the M1330 too.
Although, being a mono/mixed transmission it won't be all that great an aural experience. Perhaps you should consider a full A2DP/AVRCP headphone upgrade to compliment the notebook.
I'm actually using a set right now as I type this, and they are quite a phenomenal addition to any portable computing setup as far as I'm concerned. I can take phone calls from my mobile in my pocket whilst listening to music in iTunes, or watching a movie on my notebook.
It's like some kind of wireless wizardry. -
i have problem too with motorola H300 bluetooth earphone in vista 64bit (could identify the device but can't get connected even with correct passkey, only stay in connected for half second, both 355 and 360 got this problem) but vista 32 bit is ok.
M1330: Audio over BT headset, not BT earphones possible?
