    Hi All,
Can anyone else who ordered the Intel graphics confirm the following?

I just checked my order (again) and on my order status page it says "Intel Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator 3000, XPS M1330" on the Dell specifications site it says "X3100" comes with the laptop.

Are they shipping a slower older part? Or is the 3000 just a general description for the Intel line?

I looked over Intels website, and I am under the impressions that the Santa Rosa chipsets only come with the X3100 so I am thinking this is just a typo, but I would like to hear your input on it.

Its probably just a typo. You would think that they would be more careful though.

You could email/ask for clarification... and if its the older/slower one, then get reimbursed for it.

Just a typo.. The X3000 is the desktop IGP, for the G965 Chipset...

If it's the 965GM chipset, it'll be the X3100. Typo on their part I'd say.

Good. I agree I am pretty sure it's a type. Because if it's not a X3100 then I do not think it can be a Santa Rosa chipset, because from what I have read that is the only integrated graphics option for Santa Rosa.

I might chat with Dell later see what they have to say about the matter.

    Thanks for the input all.
