I was all ready to buy a m1530 XPS notebook, but when I came to broadband options only Sprint and Verizon were listed. I have a contract with AT&T/Cingular. Both the 1330 and 1730 have AT&T for options. Why is the 1530 different? That is very frustrating to have the notebook PC you want but can't buy because of some strange omission.

Perhaps someone could suggest an alternative or an explanation???

You can phone DELL and tell them about this. They'll most likely give you this option if you request it.

Even if they don't (unlikely), the 1330 isnt a bad alternative ;)

Yeah they should be able to get you one. There is nothing special or different about the 1530 that would render it incompatible.
