    M1530 Ship times for Canada?

    Anyone have a rough estimate of shipping times currently for Canadian orders?

    I'm interested in ordering one of their stock configs...no mods.

    Dell rep told me 8-12 business days to ship.

    Trying to decide between the XPS and some other store brand...don't really want to wait 2 weeks + to get a laptop.

    Any feedback from recent owners would be appreciated!

    It will take a week, depends if they got all parts. Most likely you will get it two days before estimate of shipping times.

    I ordered a Dell XPS M1530 and made some upgrades, went something like this;

    Ordered 03/05/08
    Shipped 03/09/08
    Received 03/13/08

    Oh and so Far no complaints, arrived in pristine condition and everything works great. Although minimum bloatware I'm still streamlining the install, I see no reason to reformat, just uninstalling what I don't want and killing off unwanted services. Going to Laptopvideo2go and installing the 169.04 drivers worked wonders with Games :)

    Actually Shipped: March 4
    Received: March 6 (!!)

    Yes, it took only a week. And it showed up one day after my b-day. Nice!

    You guys are lucky, I'm still waiting for mine..

    Ordered date: Mar 11
    Start of Production date: Mar 14
    Estimated Ship date from email: Mar 21st
    Estimated Delivery date from "order status" page: Mar 31st

    I hope it only takes 2-4 days to get it shipped! not like 10...
