I am sure I read somewhere in one of these forums that you could get the screen to display a notice when you use the touch pad media buttons (volume increase/decrease, mute etc) but I cant for the life of me find out where to do it!

Can anyone help, or did I just imagine that this was possible?

When you push the volume buttons there is a bar that shows up with the volume. I don't know of any way to get the play/pause etc. to show up.

You may need to download it from the Dell website, but the Dell Quickset application is what you are looking for.
