hello guys, newbie here... hehe
anyway, just ordered my M1530 in white... patiently waiting for delivery now.
i wanted to ask you guys, i'm gonna do a dual boot on my laptop. one's the original vista which comes with it, and one an XP.
i need advice on how to install the XP with all the m1530 drivers...
fyi, i need the XP partition to run my music production stuff...
thank you wise ones!

Though it's for the M1330, its nearly identical.

Go to Dell support for the drivers.. simply enter in the model info and presto! there's the drivers. -
There are a couple of diffs from the 1330, I think - one having to do with either slipstreaming the Intel Storage Matrix drivers onto your XP install media or disabling ACPI disk access within the BIOS before installing XP, or XP won't find any hard drives....
Good luck. I'm drooling over the prospect of a 1530, but just haven't dropped the hammer yet.
