    M1530 gpu is extremely hot

    my gpu temp is 68c when nothing is happening.....

    That is perfectly fine. A little warm, but not bad.

    on idle? and 43% of my memory is used on idle and i have the 3 gig one -_-

    Vista always holds up half the memory. You can have a 2 gagillion GB of RAM, Vista will still use half of it.

    Your memory usage and GPU temp are not unusual. My GPU temp fluctuates at idle. The fan kicks in at about 69 degrees. When does your fan turn on?

    Mine seems to always be on , the fan. How do you stop that?
    Is there a way?

    i think its always on too -_- and how hot is too hot anyways? and i am using a 9 cell battery so doesn't it suppose to make the laptop cooler?

    And what would it get to under load?

    Although i'm not using an M1530, my GPU stays at a constant 50C. And when gaming, raises to 60C.

    It drives me crazy the constant like humming and vibrating on the wrist rests.
    Not hot at all.
    I'd get a replacement but not sure the new one would do the same thing.

    i have %27 ram used on startup, the temp is a little unusual...buy a notebook cooler it'll defenately help..

    oh and does the 1440 screen run a lot cooler than 16xx?

    Yeh mine goes up to 72 before the fan kicks in, i think its a problem, but dell havent fixed it yet. They did a diagnostics test which said it wasn't a hardware issue, smeone suggested it could be a poorly placed heatsink
