I pressed the mediadirect button and it started the intial setup screen, but then it says that bitlocker prevented it from accessing the hard drive, so it turned off, but when i try to start the computer again, mediadirect tries to install again and i get the bitlocker message again, even on the power button.

what do i need to do to start windows?
i am running vista home premium

This happened to me too, it sucks, you dont have to reinstall the whole OS though, just boot to the vista cd and repair startup and it should work...
