Hello! I purchased my M1530 yesterday and am very excited to get it, hopefully before I leave for vacation on January 30.
About an hour ago I received a call from Dell. It was an automated message telling me about the XPS dedicated support and service phone number. That was all it said. Did anyone else get a call like this? I thought it was a little pointless, as I just placed the order yesterday.
And also, I got the tuxedo black color (wanted a sleek and timeless look and thought I would get sick of the red eventually). What are your thoughts, those of you who already have theirs? Does the black really show that many fingerprints?
Thank you!
Alexandra

I'm with you. I got the black. Fingerprints not too bad.
Also got the automated call... though not sure where the scrap of paper when I wrote the info is now...? -
Hope you wrote that number down, because there's no other way to get it.
I got black. Was noticing that it shows up fingerprints a lot and very easily. -
I remember the phone call as well. All the numbers were easily accessible through the website or the email that was sent confirming your order.
I really like the matte black look of my notebook. I have seen a few fingerprint smudges here and there, but it is nothing that won't come off. I had more trouble getting the little sticker off my laptop the security guy at Best Buy put on it when I was doing some screen comparisons.
If you do need the XPS Support Phone number it is 800-232-8544.
Tell them I sent you! I am practically best friends with those guys at this point.

I have the red and it also shows fingerprints but they aren't as visible as the black. I bet since the blue is relatively dark, the prints on it would show up more so than the red.
