    M170 and CPU-X, do I have problem

    I ran CPU-Z to check my CPU performance (see screen shot attached), do I have a problem? I know my notebook uses a pentium-M chip. The screen shot was taken with power plugged in.

    I notice when the CPU is under load it jumps up to 2.1Ghz ... up down, up down ... is this the correct behavior? Or do you guys think I have a driver issue on this notbook?

    Yes, that’s the default behavior. The CPU speed is dynamically switched, it runs at full speed only when needed.
