anyone have any comparison's between M4300 and D830? I'm interested in graphics performance, screen quality and I assume process speed is the same.

The D830 maxes out with a Quadro NVS 140 while the M4300 only has the option for a Quadro FX 350 (That might not be the exact name). I'm not totally sure about the performance of either card; haven't really heard much about them. Processor choices are indeed the same and I believe the screen choices are the same as well.

M4300 WSXGA option is of the truelife variety,D830 WSXGA option is matt,FX quadro in precision is optimised for openGL software such as solidworks, maya, pro engineer,3dsmax and the like.
I'm interested if the Quadro FX360m has GDDR3 video memory this time around,if it has I would expect it to have directx gaming performance the same as the XPS1330 or 1420 with the 8400M GS.

The D830 and the M4300 are the same, in hardware. Differences between the 140NVS and the 360M exist only in bios software.
