    Hello everybody,

I ordered my M4400 on March 2 calling to Dell Spain, through sales rep. I paid by Visa and, on March 3, the laptop was in production.

However, today is March 18 and the laptop is still in production! (more than 2 weeks in production...!).

Well... the initial estimated date was March 23 (!!) but, on March 13, I received an e-mail from Dell where they say that the reason for the delay is through lack of a component, and the estimated date changed to March 27.

Anyone with similar delays in Europe? Spanish Dell laptops are manufacturing in Ireland...

By the way, the laptop has the following specs:

    Precision M4400 : Intel Core 2 Duo T9400 (2.53GHz,1066MHz,6MB)
Base Option : 512MB Discrete nVidia FX770M Graphics Card (with 512MB dedicated memory)
Display : 15.4in Widescreen WUXGA (1920X1200) Truelife with RGB LED
Camera : Integrated 0.3 MegaPixel Camera and Microphone for RGB LED LCD Panel
LCD Back Cover : RGB LED
    Memory : 4096MB (2x2048) 800MHz DDR2 Dual Channel
Disco duro : 250GB SATA (7200RPM) disco duro (sensor de caída libre)
Palmrest : UPEK Swipe Fingerprint Reader Biometric
    Unidad óptica : 8X DVD+/-RW
Power Supply And Power Cord : Worldwide 130W AC Adapter with European Power Cord
    Battery : Primary 6-cell 56 W/HR LI-ION
    Wireless : EMEA Intel Pro Wireless 5300 (802.11a/g/ Draft-n 3x3)
Wireless : EMEA Dell Wireless 370 Bluetooth 2.1 MiniCard
Keyboard : Internal Spanish Qwerty Backlit Keyboard
Operating System : Spanish Windows Vista Business SP1
    Custom Hard Drive Partition - 60GB Primary/Rest Logical 1 S
Basic Warranty - Next Business Day - Minimum Warranty
Maletín de transporte : neopreno funda para 15,4" portátiles (Kit)
Resource DVD : Mobile Precision M4400 Diagnostics and Drivers

    Thank you!

    It's probably the RGB-LED screen...

I think the same... However, it's curious that I initially wanted the WUXGA 2CCFL screen but, in the last budget, my sales rep put it WUXGA RGBLED without cost maintaining the same estimated delivery date and I, obviously, accepted it.

    I want my laptop :(
