    Hi everyone,

My name is Ben. I'm a screenaholic.

No other stats matter to me on a laptop as long as it's not dog slow. That being said, I've currently got a Precision M90 with a 17" 1920x1200 screen. I absolutly love it, but I'm now in a position where I have to travel a lot, and this thing is just too big for airplanes. Not to mention the power brick is monstrous. So, I'm looking for something a bit smaller/lighter.

I'm in a heated debate that I have to come to a consensus on in the next couple of days, so I could use some help. Here is where I stand:

    • I like the D830's 15.4" 1920x1200 screen
    • I hate the D620's 14.1 1440x900 screen, because of it's faded look, and crappy vertical viewing angle
    • I like the D620's size in comparision to the D830
    • I have not seen a D630

Now I've heard through the rumor tree that the D630's 1440x900 screen is nicer than the D620's, but I've seen no direct comparison between the two. What would you guys do?

    Thanks!
