    Hey

I was just wondering if the magnet in the XPS case would affect the hard drive or the electrics.

Am just curious, cause it attched its self to the bottom of the laptop and I thought I read somewere that you should not put magnets near a computer.

    Thanks

No. A weak ferrous magnet like that would need to be rubbed over the HDD to do anything.

Evidently not, since so many notebooks incorporate that feature. ;)

I'm sure that Dell has already thought of that or they wouldn't have done it.
If it bothers you, take it out and sew on some velcro.
