Ok, so I left my notebook on downloading some stuff while I went to the movies. I came back and it had a blue screen up with something like "Hardware Failure" Parity Error or something and then it said the System had halted. I panic quickly so I shut it down and left it off for a few mins before turning it back on. Now I turn it on and everything is messed up. Icons have jagged edges, my Icontweaker setting were changed and now I can't reset them...and my graphics are all messed up...As you can see below:

    Something is seriously wrong, here.

What's weird is that the recycle bin's icon is one of the vista icons from IconTweaker and it still works but the other ones were vista icons too and they are broken (or in the case of My Computer, I just switched the icontweaker package to default and you can see that that is really jagged around the edges.
This makes me very nervous. I don't really want to have to send this into Dell already.

The following was posted a while back and might be a good place to start. Good luck.

While the blue screen still worries me greatly...I've managed to discover the problem behind the choppy colors. Somehow, in a matter of two hours my system switched from 32-bit to 16-bit color and thats why it looked like ****.

I did run the Dell Diagnostics (which, by the way I would not reccomend to anyone with a video problem because its pretty much useless for that) and it passed all tests.

Does anyone know any thing about the blue screen and why I go it?
