This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Your computer will run better and faster if you do these simple things. (May take a while) This is for Windows XP. First go to start. Go to all programs. Go to accesseries. Go to system tools. Go to Disk Cleanup. And go from there on that.

    Go to Start, all programs, accessories, disk defragmenter, analyze, select the things you want to remove, click remove, let it analyze then when its done click close. Then click defragment and go from there.

    I know you are knew here, but there is no sense in creating a post for this. This topic has been covered extensively and there is a sticky about it in the hardware section. Anymore posts like this, and I will delete them.
