Its driving me crazy waiting for my M1530, Im doing everything I can think of to hold myself over. Watching the videos of it on Youtube, reading every review i can find over and over again, reading every post on the owners thread on here. What are some things that you others that have bought a Dell have done to hold yourself over, or currently doing.

Get a hold of a hobby. If time doesn't go quickly, then at least you'll be (hopefully) enjoying what you like to do.

Assembling computers is what I do on my spare time.

Yes hang with your girlfriend does make things faster, 21 days went pass pretty fast for me (now when i think about it) but when i was waiting for it, it felt like the end of th world if i dont get it soon..

And i did the same thing you are doing, watch you tube unboxing videos, read every single review i can find and look for pictures..

You are on the 3rd day after you ordered it.. you have 12 more days..

Try to find something else to do that has nothing to do with it. So reading reviews and such isn't going to help. Try to find a side project to work on until it comes. Sometimes I try to find stuff to fix around the house or repaint a room.

I'm in the same position as you. I ordered my Vostro 1710 on the 30th and the EDD is June 23rd... 22 more days to go! I really hope i'll get it quicker though. Dell's delivery dates are usually pretty pessimistic. I got my last Dell laptop about a week before the EDD. Anyways good luck with your new laptop when you get it.

Do you have any outdoor activities you like to do??

I like to going bikeriding, take walks, go running ;) sit outside...chill with my friends, enjoy the day. Sometimes just admiring the beauty of the outdoors can bring the best relief to the *things we want and are waiting for* ;) :)

What about going to you local library or bookstore? Going to a poolhall and shooting pool or darts? Playing outside sports with your friends?

    Just some ideas... ;) :)

*sigh* .. I understand, that...But isn't that the point of the thread, to be helpful and give suggestions on *making time go faster* while waiting for the 1530 to arrive??? As, these were? :D ;) :wideeyed:

    Thanks ;) :)

Sometimes, I change the calenders to December and pretend it is Christmas. I start handing out candy canes at the office.......

This sounds like something Michael Scott would do.
